HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER TOP NEEDS:

  • 5 + years of experience as Full cycle Human Resources Professional with background in Payroll
  • Experienced in California Employment Law & Regulations, assisted in audits, experienced in queries and compliance
  • Experienced in payroll operations, 401K, audit, benefits, reconciliation, tax liens & preparations, variance analysis, vacation, sick days, benefits, social security, Medicare, annuities, checks, deposits, processed Multi-state Payroll for more than 1,000 employees
  • Familiar with Hospitality Industry
  • Soft skills: excellent communication, presents very well, highly organized & efficient within fast-paced environment, resourceful and highly adaptable

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 5+ years in Full-Cycle Human Resources Operations within Hospitality Industry,
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including group health insurance, 401k plan, and leaves of absence
  • Manage the full employee life cycle starting with the recruitment and selection process through separation of employment
  • Experienced in managing Investigative inquiries from federal, state and local tax and government agencies and unemployment insurance departments.
  • Ensure consistent legal compliance in all human resource functions
  • Experience in managing complex payroll within multi-entities ( this role manages Payroll for 20 entities)
  • Partner with the VP Human Resources on projects including, but not limited to, employee career development, roll-out of training and learning opportunities, and developing DEI initiatives
  • With the HR leadership, develop and implement new key HR initiatives and strategy to support the Company’s overall business objectives
  • Stay up to date with trends in HR best practices and technology, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for change
  • Knowledge of manual bonus, new hires, terminations deductions, Tax Filing 941, and third-party payment,
  • Processed payroll multi-state taxes both Federal and State(certified payroll processing)
  • Experience in full-cycle hourly Payroll Processing, multi-state garnishments, 401K, wage reporting, Audit, Tax 941, direct deposit, hourly timesheets, sick leave, pensions, leaves, overpayment of wages

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle human resources and solid understanding of multi-state complex payroll operations for more than 1,000 hourly employees
  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Business Admin or similar
  • Skilled in managing a complex payroll within multi-entity hospitality channels
  • Experienced in California Employment Law & Regulations, assisted in audits, experienced in queries and compliance
  • Competency in working in complex work environment, with ability to prioritize, wear many hats, multi-tasking, with high level of efficiency required
