- Review & send out wires
- Reconcile asset reports between departments/systems
- Cash management: Manage cash to make sure all the bank accounts have a positive balance, initiate the transfer if necessary
- Deposit all checks received
- Commissions: calculate & process commissions & employees’ advances
- Monitor activities in all cash accounts, record bank and wire fees and any automatic withdrawals.
- Reconcile some balance sheet accounts
- Backup for AP and Fund Accountant occasionally
- Record sales and purchases of fund assets
- Send out daily wire in data to various departments
- Record any necessary journal and receipt entries into the general ledger
